so for a few days now i been on beast 1.1 on adamz kernel

and atleast 3-4 times since then ive gone to check on my phone and it just was suddenly off and i had to pull battery to start it up again

my setcpu settings are as follows
    max 800/min 250

    set on boot/conservative

    profiles
    charging 550/250
    sleep 400/250
    power < 20 percent 600/250
    failsafe 45c 550/250

setcpu settings and the rom/kernel its self is all im thinking could be causing this..any ideas based on this info?

I would try a different kernal. Different ones are stable on different droids. If that doesnt work I would try a different rom.

Agreed. I tried out AdamZ's kernel on Ultimate 3.7 and with no apps installed other than what came with the ROM I got my first two FCs and a hard boot within 10 minutes of loading it. I have since switched to Chevy's kernel and all is well....

Eh? When you flash those kernels, you rename them to update.zip and place them in the root of your SD Card.

    Then, using SPRecovery 0.99.2b+:

    -Reboot into recovery
    -Install
    -Allow update.zip installation
    -Install /sdcard/update.zip (deprecated)

could it be the sleep profile is to low?..

I would say your sleep profile is way too low. I had mine set to 500/250 when I first got setcpu. When someone called the phone wouldn't wake up and would reboot. When I got a multiple text within a few seconds my phone would reboot. Try going to 600 min and 600 max.

I ran 1.1 with adamz kernal for 3 days without a reboot, my sleep profile was 250/250. All droids are different, but I'd guess there was something else going on, shoot, I've been running the same kernel on BB 2.1 v .5 with the same profile and no FC's or shutdowns/reboots for 24 hours now.

It could also be many other things - # apps you have installed, # widgets on your screens (I have seen it be an issue on my setup before), number of apps that try to run at startup....etc.

Could also be the rom. Some roms just dont agreed with some droids.

There is that. However, this ROM likes my phone. A lot. In fact, it likes my phone more than I like it lol.
