Trying to root a android tablet-landline hybrid

I was wondering if anybody here would be able to help me with my "project"

Been trying to root and install custom roms on my android tab-landline hybrid. Its being advertised under the name "Telpad".

I was able to root the device using Universal Androot and install a couple of root-only apps but i'm having trouble with how to go forward from there.

Any help from anybody would be appreciated.

i hope someone can help me root or solve the issue of the Telpad..it has countless errors on process.vending, process.media, etc....BUNCH OF ERRORS NUFF SAID.

I know this is an old device that is why im also counting on making it my first root experiment so even if its bricked no one would ask
