Been a Palm PDA user since the original Pilot.
Came here to help find apps for my Evo that can replace the ones I currently use on my Palm TX, since Palm's support for these devices is disappearing.

Welcome, ExPalm! I am also an old Palm person, having started out with a Palm IIIc way back when, and having moved up the ladder through the Treo line.

I think you'll enjoy your Android experience; I have!

    Welcome to the forum! :D

As a fellow Palm transplanter, I can sympathize. You'll find we have over 200 threads regarding PalmOS, so have a look around and I'm sure you'll find something to meet most of your needs.

Sadly, I'm afraid you'll find the stock Google PIM apps sub-standard to what you're used to (although, with Android v2.x, the Calendar and Contacts have improved quite a bit). There are still a wide range of issues where I simply don't understand why Android is not up to par with what Palm did a decade ago. I guess they'll get there, eventually.

Nobody seems to have been able to match Palm's PIM Management. If Garnet were reworked and re-released, I'd be back in a heartbeat!!!
