Turn volume down when video recording?

I go to quite a few concerts and love to video the acts. Whilst the Video camera on the S4 is great I am struggling with the live music coming out distorted. Is there anyway to reduce the recording level on the video camera??

I suspect that the distortion may be due to the fact that the mic can't handle that level of sound, because it never was designed to. Find a piece of Styrofoam that you can cut to the size of the mic hole and put it into the hole and see if that helps any. (Be careful - you'll have to remove any tiny piece that breaks off with tiny non-metallic tweezers.)

Or maybe just tape a piece of Styrofoam over the mic hole. The thicker the piece, the more sound you'll lose. Experiment.
