OK, this cable has RCA outputs but my portable DVD player (that I would play this on) uses an 3.5mm av jack. I found a gender converter plus a separate cable I would use but I'd like an all in one solution (well in addition to this HTC cable). I searched Amazon and Monoprice but I must not be using the right terminology. Any pointers on how best to take the output of this HTC cable and bring it into a portable DVD player? Thanks!!!

I just ordered one. I wasn't going to since I honestly can't think of a time when I will need it. But I decided that since they seem to be in such short supply it would be just my luck that I will later decide I want it and not be able to get it.

Worse case senerio I have a cable I won't ever use. Oh well, it's not like it would be the first $30 I have wasted =)

Went ahead and ordered one yesterday. I have a bunch vids recorded in 800x480, some music vids, and a few movies already on the phone that will play very nicely. May order another one if this works as advertised, so I can take it with me for impromptu viewings.

Here is from htcpedia, they reviewed this tv out cable with images and a video. I guess they came through and we can now be satisfied. It looks awesome. The entire phone is on your TV.

An HDMI version would seem more appropriate, especially when the phone update comes soon with 720p video support.

I wasn't going to buy one since I think it's way too expensive for a cable and I'm cheap, but I realized I just threw away $40 at a casino in Omaha for much less entertainment than this will probably provide me, so I might as well go ahead, so I did, and one is on the way.

Reading back over that sentence, I realize I should also should spring for a few periods, but, like I said, I'm cheap.

I have the slingbox and a blue tooth freedom keyboard and a pico projector and now with this cable I can rule the world..... 51 left in stock at HTC pedia.... By the way if you do the slingbox the solo is about the best you need for 3g viewing, high def boggs down, save the cash and just go solo...

I am selling my PS3 because this cable is finally available. The only thing I did with it lately is watch movies through it haven't played a game in months.
