I just bought my first android phone a Warp Sequent and while learning this phone I have a few empty albums and unable to delete them as there is no delete function when selecting the albums.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I have searched the forum with no luck in solving this issue.

Welcome to the forums dapoling. In the stock Music Player app when you select an album before you actually play it tap on the Settings key then chose delete from that list.

In the Gallery App long press on the album you want to delete then choose Delete.

That's weird. My phone is running ICS 4.0.4 as well. Are you using a custom ROM or a different Music Player than the stock items?

I finally figured out what it was.
They are shared folders with Picasa apart of the new Google+ and had to install their app, sign in and then I was able to remove them.

It was not deleting because of the link between the phone and picasa.

    :D

Here is a better solution I found elsewhere.

    Open up Picasa and select

    Tools
    Experimental
    Delete Empty Online Albums
