Unable to install/uninstall appSupport

    Hello all, bizarre issue on my G1. The facebook application will not open when I click it from the menu, and under manage applications, I don't have the option to uninstall it (the button is greyed out). Does anyone know if this app uses an apk so that I may delete it manually, or, have any tips to forcefully remove an uncooperative application like this? Thank you!

    did you download it from the Android market? if so , go to the android market -> press menu -> downloads -> go to facebook -> selct uninstall :)

    I did download it from the market, however it became corrupt somehow. Now I'm unable to uninstall it under the "Manage applications" menu, or the downloads menu. There is no way to uninstall this, the button is greyed out.

    strange , it sounds like the only option is a factory reset :)
