unable to sync my gmail in activesync exchange

    Hi all!

    Just got a Desire and am happy with it except for the problem above. I've got my emails working fine on the gmail app, but for some reason when I try to sync gmail with ActiveSync exchange I keep getting 'authentication error'. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to resolve it? Also, anyone who's got it working could you let me know your settings? I think I'm using the correct ones but might as well check.

    Hi choronzonix,
    Welcome, I am guessing you are using an exchange server?

    try unticking the SSL in your settings and try again, should be fairly simple as I do this every other day!
