How does one uninstall all the bloatware that is installed, such as Amazon mp3 or Blockbuster. In addition to that, how does one also prevent certain programs from starring up, like voicemail if I were running grand central?

[HOW TO] Remove bloatware - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum

Pretty much the same on the D2.

There's a spreadsheet attached a couple pages into the thread listing apps and what you can mess with.

Much safer to rename rather than remove apps, or use Titanium backup to "Freeze" them (paid app, worth it).

ALWAYS do a nandroid backup using Clockwork Recovery before making any changes.
