uninstalling Amazon because it keeps crashing?

Amazon keeps crashing, though I cant uninstall it. I clicked on Force Stop, though it warned me something about this could cause problems with the apps. My Note2 will freeze up on me every couple of days for a couple of minutes and then I get a message that Amazon has stopped working.

Force stop, then Uninstall. When you say "can't uninstall it", what happens when you tell it to uninstall?

Other apps have a uninstall button. Amazon does not, it just has Force Stop and Uninstall updates. If I select Force Stop, it pops up with a Force Stop window that indicates "If you force stop an app, it may cause errors"

I have no idea what that means, and it doesn't really explain whether it could cause errors with Amazon app or with my Android OS, etc. so I was a bit concerned....

If you uninstall the updates, it should give you the option to either disable or uninstall.
