Help unread READ mail

I am still struggling with my non-Gmail mail. Read mail (and it usually the oldest or closest to the oldest still on my phone and at the bottom of my list periodically show up as unread during a sync. It is never the same exact mail..and these have been read and filed or deleted or my main server, Comcast. Any ideas folks??

glad to know I am not alone.....now we just need some ideas on how to fix this annoying glitch.

fixed mine by setting them up as a exchange account

not sure what you mean "exchange account"...can you elaborate?

If you go to your email settings and create new account and select manual settings you will see it as the last option.

It must be a yahoo mail account, as it does the same thing to me. My Mail.com account on the other hand, does not do this. Are you guys using K9 Mail? Been using this for years and still have the same problem with Yahoo mail.

i use default email app and i have 9 active mail account, 8 gmail and 1 yahoo, and the only account with this problem is yahoo account

The issue seems to be with one of my three comcast accounts

I have the same issue with my Comcast account. I ended up switching to K9 for my email.

I've had this with my Gmail from time to time.

Though several months back, I was traveling for work (in a diff time zone) and had literally every email message I'd ever received on the phone marked as unread. Went through and cleaned it up, only to have it do it again.

Got home and everything was peachy.
