Unreadable ESN

Hey Guys:

I need some help, I was given a HTC Incredible, I was told that it had a bad ESN.

Anyway, all the info where the ESN, etc.. is supposed to be (behind battery) is not there, it looks like it was erased.

Is there anyway that I can get the esn?

Power it up, if not on the activation screen, pull up the menu and select settings, status and the MEID should be on there.

If on activation, you'll have to do a google search to see how to bypass that to get to the main menu.

With a "bad ESN" you're not getting it on Verizon. It's probably been blacklisted.

Unless they just meant the ESN sticker was bad.

The sticker is unreadable, and even if the ESN is bad I will need to read it to flash it..to another carrier.
