Help Unresponsive spot on my screen

So many times I have had a problem with a certain spot on my screen being unresponsive. It is about where the minus magnify on this app is ( a little bit above my back button). So I brought my phone into radio shack and was told that it could be because I have so much stuff running and then he downloaded ATK to my phone.... he said he would replace it if I wanted but to go to ATT first to see if they could update the software. My main concern is that this will only get worse. Would it be best to go back for a new one? Or just deal with this one and hope it goes away?

I am having the same problem. If you restart the phone it just it just moves to another spot.
