Hi I'm new to this site, and on a mission to root my EVO. Can someone help with error message received after running the application. My unrevoked 3.21 computer screen reads done. The phone screen had the following on it:

-reboot system now (highlighted in green)

There seems to be a prob with unrevoked 3 flashing unrevoked forever. Just goto the unrevoked site and download unrevoked forever and flash it. After that you will be good to go!

Thank You for your response! That's exactly what I did in the first place. Twice & got the same results. Not sure what to do next.

Downloaded unrevoked forever.zip put on thr root of SD card, followed the steps.
It got the S Off, but it gave an error message in E: that it could not find unrevoked forever.zip on SD card.
I rebooted by going back to clockworkmod, & power off. when I powered back up I can't see any changes in the phone other than S-OFF.
How can I determine if I made any progress, or what should I do next?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

If you have s-off then unrevoked forever did its job. Not sure why toy got an error though.

Here's a list of available roms:

    HTC Supersonic/ROMs - XDA-Developers

Just remember to make a nandroid backup of your current rom first, and use something like titanium backup to transfer your apps/data.

Haha, sure I know where that is. I haven't been to magic mountain in years, which is funny since it takes all of 25 - 30 minutes to get there. My wife actually grew up around there in Santa Clarita. We totally hijacked a thread, lol. We should probably use PM.

I have 2 of these phones One I use daily is running the Virus Rom & I won't touch it as it's performing great. The other I bought used to play with & learn. This is the phone I'm experimenting with. After following the steps in HTC Evo for dummies, & running the unrevoked driver .zip & reflash package as specified my computer screen tells me it's done, but heres the text log on the SD card of the phone showing error message even though I got the S-Off.
ran both several times with same result. I would appreciate to hear your take on this. Hope it's OK to post this log text here?

    What is your question?

    wrapkgb Well-Known Member

Nevermind. I just re read your post. The error is because unrevoked had an error flashing ur forever ... not sure though why it would give you an error and still be able to flash it. But it seems all os good at this point so I wouldn't worry about it.
