either temporarily move some apps or clear down the cache as you may gain some valuable space from there. How big is the update?

Update is about 90mb large.. :S
I cleared all cache memory as I can... But can go better than 60mb! :(
I have no applications instaled from market or so.. :)

you should have over 100mb free if you have no apps installed from marketplace.

    do the following

    click menu
    click settings
    click applications
    click manage applications

wait for the items to load and then

    click menu

    click sort by size

This will show you what programs are using the most amount of space.

The update saves down onto the memory card, not the internal memory. You should only need 25mb (IIRC) free to install the update. I did mine with about 30mb ish free.
It sounds more like you may have a dodgy microSD card - maybe try backing up all the data to a PC - USB lead in and set to disk drive mode - then format the SD card and try again.
Alternatively you could try a different microSD.....

Maybe that's the problem, I will try that option, too! :)
