I just got the FRG22D system update notification this morning. I'm not certain how long I can keep hitting "Install Later" before it forces the update, but I've been holding off in order to keep my root access. Just wanted to see your guys' advice. Few options I was thinking of: Install Clockwork recovery to block the OTA and subsequently jump into custom ROMs Keep hitting Install Later (anyone know how long I can keep this up?) and hope for Easy Root or Universal Androot to get a button-root working Go ahead and install FRG22D OTA and wait for button-root or use more manual root method when tired of waiting. I know I have the manual root methods or flashing to an already rooted FRG22D ROM available to me, but I'm particularly lazy . In the past I would've been fine spending plenty of time tweaking and playing with this stuff (I put myself through Gentoo linux stage 1 install before to give an idea), but I have of other things to dedicate my time to nowadays. To give some background info: my intent has been to get to custom ROMs eventually, but I kinda wanted to keep playing with newer stock to get a baseline to compare against. I'm also not the kind of person to keep playing with theme customization, I'm mainly in it for utility reasons (performance, wifi tether, etc.).
