Root Update while rooted?

Hey all,

I rooted my phone a while back to get 2.2. Now my phone wants to update itself. Don't know what it could be since 2.2 has been officially out already.

I have the 2.6.32.15-king-havs-Oc-Uv kernel if that helps.

Is it safe to run this update or do I ignore it or do I unroot and then update?

If you run the latest OTA Update, your phone will no longer be rooted. The update corrects the exploit that allowed root until Unrevoked finds another way to do it.

I hit the update button didnt mess my phone up. Just stops before reboot then i pulled the battery and like magic update nag gone. I am on uncommon sense rom
