Updated prl info per region

I've gotten a decent boost from switching to a solid sprint prl but by far the best boost in data bandwidth I've received were a combo of two things.

In another thread I believe it was aenoch that mentioned an app called fresh network. What an excellent well written app. It's slightly silly looking but it's extremely simple, isn't filled with bloatware (especially while rooted with adfree) and you can just close it when your done.

But I believe the number one thing I've done in the past week to boost my throughput was with the backplate. I recently got an aftermarket battery with a backplate that was just plastic. I decided to look into where the different internal antennae are located within the warp (manual page 111) and noticed the copper foil was not really super close to the main data antenna. For the new backplate I carefully scraped the copper foil off of the stock back with a sharp knife and made sure when applying it to the new back plate it also makes direct contact with the main data antenna (bottom end of handset).

My throughput has been beyond an improvement since. I've been averaging between 800-1500 kbps. Spikes as high as 2mbps. I've only been doing this for a day but so far it has not failed me, and before I was averaging 100-400kbps. Immediate improvement so I'm almost convinced it's working. I was a little worried the gps wasn't going to be as accurate as those antennae are towards the opposite (top end) of the handset though google maps has been spot on so far ever since.

Can someone else give this a shot to confirm this? I would say on a stock plate just peel the foil and re paste it down lower on the backplate. I have had this phone for well over a month now and have had nowhere near this good of data speeds till this.

Edit: I did flip the foil around so the smaller end is on the antenna so as to not block the terribly placed warp speaker :)

I have tried plenty of PRL changes, and various other tweaks, but this one right here, I seem to have gotten the most out of it. Taken from the Samsung Prevail tweaks, I'd like to see if anyone else gets some good results with this.

Also, at the very end of this, it states click home & reboot. Before you hit home make sure you hit Menu, then save, THEN home and Reboot.

so the settings really do work I am using them now and it has more than doubled my download speed. my speed was anywhere from 250 to 300. Now my speeds have been around 700,which is super fast where I am,(tomahawk wisconsin) once I get back up to rhinelander wisconsin tonight I will run some more tests and post screenshots

So I have been using these settings for a day now and there is a big improvement. I am averaging about 500hbps or 550kbps and the highest over 700

I did another tweak on my own last night, I'm still seeing how it helps, and if it has any side effects, but in the data profile, there's something called "Rev. Tunneling" That is enabled by default...I went in and disabled this, and my upload speed went through the roof. I mean, up to 441kbps compared to average 120ish with it enabled. Will keep testing this, and see how it does.

I appreciate all you guys testing these settings, but just be aware, these settings are not meant to be accessed by a regular customer. Especially the REV Tunnelling...Boost/Sprint will notice on their end eventually something different and may consider it a void of warranty...just keep that in mind, idk...i wish i could try this myself but im waiting on my warp to come back from repair..

also, heres some of the PRLS from my stash:

(HIGHLY SUGGEST NY PPL TRY 11121 (BEST FOR ME, BUT I DIDNT REALLY TEST THEM ALL SIGNIFICANTLY, BUT 11121 I DID NOTICE HUGE DIFF RIGHT AWAY, THE SPRINTidONE IS A MODIFIED ONE, I DONT HONESTY REMEMBER WHAT IT DID LOL.

The Rev Tunneling I did myself, but everything else is already here on android forums... :) as ways to boost speed/performance.

Also, they may notice, but it takes me 2 seconds to go back and put things to stock, so even if I went into a store...They do have those right???...all they would see is a stock phone anyways. Can't call void warranty when it's a stock phone. :)

61008 still the best for me, as far as sprint prls, I get the same speeds and signal in duluth, mn. I tried that corporate one you recommended, 756ms ping time with a high of 150kbs dl. 61008 - 165ms, 1.15meg dl, 600kbs upload, rev tunneling disabled. At work the dl doubles

So..i got my warp back from repair a few days ago, came with the newest boost prl 61008 i believe, And ever since i flashed a few others, I cannot get it to update itself back to that one, does anyone have a copy or a link so i can get a copy of 61008 and load it manually? I'd greatly appreciate it... thanks

Would you have a copy of 61008? Also, aside from rev tunneling disabled, what are your vocoders set at? I'm curious what exactly people are changing it to now...Personally When i disabled rev tunneling i couldnt send a text message but It may have been another issue...going to try again..
