Help Updated to 2.2 but now cant call contacts

Hello,

Updated my SGS last night using Kies. The software is running fine and seems to be faster but I have a problem I cannot dial contacts directly from that part of the phone. All I am getting is the message and video call option, the green call button seems to have disapeared. I can recieve calls OK and made them,by manually dialling or selecting from call log.

Is anyone else having this problem? Havent tried a reset but dont want to do that if there is another way in resolving.

hey there.
i experience the same problem.
i originally had a german froyo on the sgs, then i acidently bricked it by applying some wrong code. after that i flashed it to the canadian /french version from here

everythings fine but the missing "call button" in the contacts menu. could it be possible that it is just not available in the canadian version?

its me again.
it appears that the button is missing on purpose.
just press on the number which appears above the buttons "message" and "video call".

i hope i could help the thread creator with that.
and i guess the thread can be closed now.

I think so. On my froyo, I just click the number and it calls. For Video Calling and Messaging, there are buttons.
