I'm using ROM Manager and I have Bugless Beast installed but I wanted to change from 5 slot 1000mhz chevyno1 to 5 slot 1200 mhz chevyno1. Do I have to check the data wipe box or can I just back it up and apply it. I'm new to this so sorry in advance if the answer is obvious or something.

as long as you are keeping the same rom and since the kernels are both chevy. you should be fine. just do a backup first. that way if anything goes weird you can revert back.

Thanks. Also if you don't mind me asking, what's the deal with the slots? I don't know.

the slot give you different options to use. so when you go into SetCPU you can set it to for example. 250,400,550,600,800,900,1000
