Upgrading from an Ally which phone is best?

Hi everyone I am due for an upgrade with Verizon, next week.

Im ready to dump my ally as I feel it is a POS and its getting really laggy etc and is ssssllllllloooooooooooooooowwwwwww. I am looking at getting a thunderbolt a revolution or a droid 3.

Can anyone comment on their expereinces with any of the 3?

My 2 biggest things are I will buy an extended battery since I am a heavy user(emails, data specifially). Which phones have an car dock and a home dock that supports the extended battery? Also which phones have a case that will work with the extended battery?
