I have a T-Mobile unlocked HTC Desire with Android 2.1 and would like to:
(1) upgrade to Android 2.2 (Froyo); and
(2) if possible, unbrand it (not a priority but would certainly like to).
I've searched the entire forum for a few days now but haven't been able to find anything that could help me with my particular build. The software details are:
Firmware version: 2.1-update-1
Baseband version: 32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.02_2
Kernel version: 2.6.29-54b7033a, htc-kernel@and18-2#1
Build number: 1.21.110.4
Browser version: WebKit 3.1
I've tried several options but none of them have worked. I always get an error (Status 7) while running the update.zip file.
Can anyone help me out here?
