Root USB Charging but won't mount SD

Not sure if I should have posted this in the support section, or here. But my phone is rooted so I went with this section.

So, I can plug in my phone by USB and have it charge, but the option to mount to SD, etc no longer shows up. I don't know what happened.

I upgraded to Froyd 1.5, everything was fine...used it for about a week and then all of a sudden I can't mount the USB. I tried reinstalling HTC Sync, etc. I'm now running Elelinux 2.0, and having the same problems. I'm frustrated X_X.

It's been 4 years since this was posted, it's now 2015 and I'm having the same issue and looking for a solution. If you have please email me because I will probably not be checking back here.
