Using Android Voice Xtreme (AVX)

    Hi all,
I've just made the move from iPhone to Android after I got sick of having to jailbreak a phone just to make it functional for my business work.

The one thing I need an equivalent of is Siri, and AVX seems to have it covered. Getting AVX to work reliably with a headset on the HTC One seems to be difficult though. AVX seems to fight with google voice search, and disabling GVS does help but does not entirely fix the problem. I've emailed the developer, who albeit very prompt, had no suggestions for a fix.

Has anyone with a HTC One got AVX or any Siri like voice program to work reliably with a wired handsfree? Is there any trick for an android newbie like me to do?

    Any help appreciated.

    Cheers
    Harry

Why don't you just use Google Now?

Google now has siri beat in spades! Faster, more accurate, and just all around to the point awesome

Thanks D... I must try more with Google then, as my initial tries were uninspiring...

Is there a list of commands etc online to use? A quick google search doesn't reveal anything too exhaustive...

Treat Google now the same way that you would treat Siri. It acts pretty much the same way, just better
