Using Apps on SE X10

Hi all

A newbie here, both to the forum and the Andriod concept of Mobile Phones.

I'm after some advice/help. I'm normally ok when it comes to new tech stuff, but just cant get the hang of the Andriod Apps.

I've seen a couple of (Sunderland AFC) apps i would like, but dont have a clue how to get them from the website (appbrain.com) to my handset?

When I try to install Market app from the handset, it seems to start the install but then just hangs ? Any ideas?

Any help would be great
