Is there anyway to use them? I was really fond of the calendar and newsfeed widget. And now since im running ADW the widgets dont appear. Do they only run on sense?

Are they any other widgets that do the same thing and look the same?

I haven't found a way to use them with Sense turned off using either LauncherPro or ADW. It's a shame because they have some great components. If Sense simply did landscape on the home screens, I could put up with it.

The widgets are the only thing I miss about Sense. I haven't found any widgets that satisfactorily mimic their functionality except for the clock/weather widget. Beautiful widgets has nice one with a bunch of skins.

I'm looking for a good news reader, so I'll post if I find anything good.

I tried a bunch of news apps with widgets and all the ones that let you customize your feeds are pretty much crap. The Sense news widget is by far the best I've seen. If anyone knows of a good one that's comparable. , please post.

Otherwise, I may just make one myself.
