Just came across this Samsung Galaxy S Photos / Pics
Hmm first i've heard about this ?
I'm sure it will be limited here in the US.
Yep, saw this a couple of days ago. This, together with the 2GB ROM, substantially alleviate some of the shortfalls of 2.1 for me.
Yes, I saw this being mentioned a few days back and was certainly intrigued.....
If it's anything as good as that found on the HD2 it's a definite plus for me.
This is confusing... have I missed something here?
ROM is read only memory ~ In other words it is memory that is allocated solely for the device for to store it's OS, Apps, Drivers, etc. etc that came with the machine.
Unless Samsung have altered something here it's not an area that can have data added simply by installation of normal applications.
Here's an example ~ when you perform a hard reset on your machine it defaults back to whatever the ROM Image has applied. It then takes various additional files from the ROM section and uses these to rebuild the machine back to factory status....
I think also installed app space
another reason to get this phone lol?
Well in that case it can't be ROM.
Writing apps to ROM and the name just don't go together do they!
