Vanilla Android Keyboard

Anybody else using the Vanilla Android Keyboard and wile typing in certain text fields you get annoying capitals and periods placed and normal spellings of words aren't recognized? thanks

The vanilla keyboard has an option, I think, to replace two consecutive spaces with a period and capitalized first letter for next word. It may be that you are hitting space twice? As I said, I think that is an option - you should be able to see in settings->language & keyboard. (I believe that the option is "auto-punctuate"?)
