Has anyone figured out a method for rooting the gs4 mj7 build on a mac?

I made the mistake of accepting the upgrade to 4.3 without thinking about the root implications :(

Was planning to tether to watch Sunday Ticket on the laptop while tailgating next sunday. Need root before then!!:smokingsomb:

I followed the steps but ended up with "The superuser binary (su) must be updated" Tried install and it didnt work, Also downloaded SU Update Fixer and it says "Superuser does not appear to be installed".

    Thanks in advance.

So you made sure to flash the latest version of SuperSU to your device? Just don't install it on the playstore, that never works.

ok so not to Highjack the thread but is there a way to root MJ7 for Verizon period? Luckily I rooted on ME7 via a sd card root method. I also have safestrap for recovery. Is there a way for me to get rooted 4.3 on Verizon without having to redo the whole phone?

    Very confused right now.
