Root [Verizon] Hyperdrive [ROM] S4

Hyperdrive has been one of the more popular roms on the Galaxy S3. Hyperdrive is essentially a Touchwiz Rom with lots of customizations and tweaks! This Rom is fully stable. It will include the Stock Kernel with LOKI baked in. This Rom comes Prerooted and Debloated. With all of that extra bloat gone you should have more internal memory to play with. This Rom is full of customizations. Developer Sbreen94 has thought of pretty much everything. He still doesn't have this device.

Some features of the rom include All touchwiz functionality, full multiwindow with all apps enabled, Hyperdrive Control, Hyperdrive OTA so you will be notified when an update comes out (this rom series is updated often), Custom Hyperdrive 4 way reboot menu, MMS app extended settings, extended camera settings, extended browser settings, unplug does not turn on screen, no more full battery charge notification, removed gps icon from status bar, removed ongoing wifi in status, removed samsung OTA updates (this is big since samsung will patch root and bootloader), Galaxy Note 2 features like torch toggle, Enabled Verizon Wifi Tethering, and much more!

You have 3 people here who have never used it. And I don't even have the S4. I'm thinking about getting it. The best I can say is...if you are rooted then give it a try. Or go to the XDA thread and ask the people there.

I watched a video of this running on an S3 and it reminds me of JBSourcery for the Nexus. So many features. Still don't have the phone. Still not sure? I'm also surprised of the lack of videos for the Verizon S4 with all in one root tool kit walkthroughs and VS4 videos in general.

I was in the middle of doing this and got screwed up somehow. Now it won't do anything! Just a black screen with a open lock on it and custom under it. I need help!

Well what messed me up is it said I wasn't rooted then asked if I want to root and I clicked yes stupidly.

Awesome! So how is the ROM?

I have to be honest, other than just a few esthetic things, unless there is something I just haven't seen yet. .... it's not much different.

I'm new to the whole ROM thing. I've been rooted before when I had the HTC incredible. There always seems to be some little thing that keeps popping up. I can't remember what all it was then but with this one there are issues too. I have two babies in my house and I just can't spend a lot of time on my pic trying to find ways to fix them. But that's just me.

I'm not seeing anything in this list. Did this make any improvements to the watch on app?

The Dev of this ROM had an S4 donated to him. He either has it now or it is still on its way.

The Dev has received the S4 and overhauled the ROM for the S4. Newest Changelog as of today. I noticed in comment that the MD5s in the mirrors are different so avoid until fixed. Use the original DEV link for the download instead.

You might have some previous backups taking up space that you need to delete.
