I was at my local verizon store an hour ago and was talking to the sales guy about my eris and possibly getting a new battery. After asking for the date for the 2.0+ update (he didnt have one) and the nexus one, he told me that the nexus one will in fact be called the nexus one for verizon (rather than the htc passion) and that it is already in their computer system as being available in february.

Only problem being that Nexus One is GSM. But that is just a minor issue...

    Take a guess
Well considering that on launch day Google/HTC already listed Verizon as a carrier I don't think it will be much of a problem.

Oh, it won't be a HUGE problem. Just gotta make a CDMA version is all. I am done chasing unicorns. My Eris does what I want it to...
