Hopefully someone will continue to dig down deeper in those files and maybe find another surprises.

P.S. Engadget, in their GN2 press pack, found a bluetooth S Pen that has a speaker and a microphone in it, it can basically be used as a speakerphone.

    26 daaaaaaaaaaaays lol.

What's driving me batty is I have so much stuff to "get through" before it ships. I'm up in Rochester for 2 months for work, the gf visits next weekend, I'm home the weekend after for a wedding, then I'm home for thanksgiving after another half a week...then back here till Dec 14th lol. Maybe the business will make the time go fast!

I just hate how they have a preorder without a firm release date. Its stupid.

I'm trying not to think how many more weeks until I get my phone. Has anyone's shipped date changed or status change? I'm still holding out hope that it'll come before Nov 27th!!! :)

I guess it has to be good with multi windows. Just remember how bad and late VZW always is with updates. If it came out without it, we would be waiting till March to get it.

I'm finally going down to my local store to pre order tomorrow.. the guy that's taking care of it has sold me my last 3 phones and he actually knows his stuff so I'm gonna see if i can get some concrete info out of him. He'll probably know nothing but I'm just looking for anything at this point

Please dish if there's anything new that we haven't heard or read. I'm here crying in my corner because i have to look at my iphone 4s's small screen. I need higher prescription in my glasses to read the font without zooming in all the way. lol VERIZON GIVE ME ANDROID NOW! I need to leave the dark side. :(

Lol at Verizon taking preorders without a release date. It's awful that they do this...
I will consider buying one if it is before December 1st. My shopping for holidays will drain my funds soon!

I have been toying with the idea of leaving Verizon for Sprint just so I could get the Note 2 now!!!

Sadly, Verizon wins. They will take my unlimited data, they will charge me more money, and they will make me wait an extra month! However, I will have LTE right away, I will not drop calls, and I will probably get multi window upon release.

    Gonna Pre-Order tomorrow.

Oh yea, my 4s is working my nerves. I have loved iPhones since 07. While I still respect the product Apple puts out, I am absolutely disgusted at the lack of "cool features" in Apple's OS!

Verizon does suck at pushing updates. However, once the phone is in my possession, I will not rely on Verizon for anything. I will root and watch as all the new features are ported over weeks if not months before the official OTA updates!

While verizon sucks balls at releasing products/updates, this one picture circulating around the net proves nothing. I could've easily typed that out. As of right now, all we have is a "ship by" Nov 27th. No one seems to know what the means.

Another T-Mo convert here, partially do to this release and button badge along with the REST of VZW nonsense. More greatly due to prices.

That's too bad that you would go to a network that has less coverage and no 4G because of a logo on a button that can be covered or removed.

As far as prices, you get what you pay for. If you want to be on the best network with the best coverage and most 4G, you'll pay a little more.

Unfortunately, wanting to be on the best network also means dealing with their BS.

As I said, I've seen the website where Verizon posted this. It's the real deal. You'll have your phone on the 29th.

I still would like to know the real reason for the delay. So far it's been proposed:

-Extra time to stamp on VZW logos on the button
-Stocking up so there aren't shortages
-Creating buzz/demand right around the Black Friday time period
-Postponing to update the multiview feature
-Verizon just lives on the tears of adult men and women
-Some type of deal was struck with the other companies to give them an "exclusivity" period.

    Your thoughts?

lol...yeah the harvesting of sweet tears which powers their cell site towers ---hence 4G coverage all over = Win!

The best nationwide network <> the best network for every individual. "Best network," to me, is much more than simply towers and coverage. For my needs, anyone outside of Sprint is going to be sufficient in my area.

Maybe someone smart can enlighten me, but this seems like a dumb business decision. Everyone is going to be broke after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. They will look at a $300 phone w/ 2yr contract and laugh.
  25. PetiePal

    PetiePal Well-Known Member

Not to mention full price purchases either off contract OR wanting to upgrade early. That's $599 or $699 no?

It shows that Verizon doesn't really understand how to DO a release.
