It hurts to watch that! But the guy is hilarious, he's talking like he's doing a real job on the phone while you can see he's clearly not scratching hard at all and the look on his face is more than enough to see how he's regretting ever taking on the challenge.. :D

I actually think he's doing a decent job. He took up the challenge because he was going to return the phone and get a new one. Not like any of us have the balls to even put scissors near our phone.

I think he does an OK test. It's a scratch test not a gauge test. If you take scissors to any coating at full strength you would expect to go through it.

I suppose you're right.. It just looks like he's really suffering, but, I appreciate he's doing it so we don't have too :).

Also, I was more comparing his comments vs his actions, when he says "you can see my muscles flexing", I couldn't stop myself from giggling. ;)

Wow that was hard to watch but I'm still going to use my Zagg screen protector because it is more oil resistant and its easy to clean off any oil that does get on it more then the regular screen.

My DROID has Gorilla Glass on it, but I still use a protector. Even GG won't protect against micro-scratches. So, while you couldn't see anything in YouTube quality video, I'm sure if you're like me (OCD), you would be able to notice some scratching. And yes, I agree that he was gliding his keys over the screen. I just ran my keys over my plastic screen protector and guess what? NO SCRATCHES! Amazing these $1 screen protectors!

    lol - great vids!!! :D

I cringed when you put the keys on the back cover... but i guess it's pretty resistant too... i didn't realise it was teflon... though was just a type of rubberized coating... NICE!

Just installed the Zagg on my N1. It doesn't show the fingerprints as much now, looks a lot better.

I wouldn't test it though. Teflon is on your non-stick cookware, and as you know, it can be scratched off.

My experience with ZAGG is that it ends up going back to ZAGG. The texture is orange-peel-like. And it's not smooth, either by sight or by touch. Sticky.
