Help Video Playback w/ Subs ????

Guys,i'm really hoping some1 knows this..
I'm trying to convert and play some vids on my phone that have subs in them...
How do i convert some vids (mkv and some are in mp4) ,so that the subs are still in them and playable on my Desire???

I've tried Xvid4Psp,BadaBoom,MediaCoder...nothing worked >_>

If the video resolutions are lower than 720p, then there is no need to convert them. Just use a good player that can handle subs, like MoboPlayer or VitalPlayer.

If you need to convert, then just burn the subs in the video. This way all the players will show the subs. Make sure you specifically point this out in the conversion process.
For converters, Xvid4PSP or Mediacoder are both good. You can also try Handbrake or Xmedia Recode. Just make sure to select the correct settings (codec, resolution, bitrate, subs, etc.).
