Video player for HTC Hero / video resolution

    I'm looking for a decent video player app for my Hero, and was also wondering what's the right resolution to convert my video files to? Thanks :)

    The resolution should be 480x320. As for the video player, I prefer the stock one...

    Does the stock one play .wmv files?

    Yes. It supports 3gp, mp4 and wmv files.

    Zimly not only plays music but will also play video files.

    You just have to convert your video to a 480x320 resolution and mp4 format (the formats can be different but the resolution not).
    There is a program that makes good quality videos - Download'n'Convert Pro
    you must choose:
    1. Settings \ Video resolution - 480x320
    2. Open the video file
    3. Save as MP4

    My HTC Hero won't play streaming video. I have downloaded Meridian, but can't see, only hear, which is the same as I had before Meridian.
