I've only had my EVO for 4 days now but I can't open any videos sent to me via messaging. My husband has an Instict and sent me a 20 second video of our daughter and when I tried to open it, I got a photo that said "Video too large to view on this device". The video is not that large so I'm not sure what's up.

Is there anyone else that is having this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it???? We send videos of our kids all the time and I hate to think that I can't do that with a "state of the art" phone!!

I hope someone can help. I'm having this problem now on my phone and I want to get an EVO soon, but I really hope I don't have this problem on the EVO. I have 2 kids too, and don't want to miss those special moments.

Really??? Why is this not a big deal to people. Qik sucks and I have no way to video files because they are too big. Even a 10 second video in 720p wont send.

My hero is YouCast. It allows you to send/receive video without file size limit. And it is free!

    YouCast for Android

YouCast requires that you have the app on both phones, right ?

I use Android SendIT ... it lets you email any size video to anyone ... it works great for me

Just wanted to says that my wife had the Instinct (now the Evo) and when she sent me longer videos I got the same message on my Hero. I wonder if it is a problem with HTC receiving MMS. She just got the Evo so I have yet to test it with that phone.

hrm....i guess I've become so accustomed to uploading videos to youtube and sharing the link that I haven't noticed any issues. heck I've started doing the same with pictures now as well.
