Root [VIDEO] Upgrade to Froyo 2.2 Leak

Figured it out...I turned off my phone, booted into Hboot, booted into recovery, installed the 2.2 image and now I'm on the .32 kernel. Best of all, NOTHING was deleted or changed or anything. I deleted wireless tether and the android.tether folder before I did this so I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

Wait, I have the .29 kernel from the leaked update. Where is the .32 one?

I'm going to try your method to fix my internal memory issue. Did you have to downgrade to 2.1 before updating again? I ask because I'm wondering if I can just reinstall the 2.2 image over 2.2?

I followed these steps exactly and it only took about 2 minutes. Now my internal memory is working perfectly.

You do not need to downgrade to 2.1. Just get into Hboot, recovery, install .zip from sd card, choose .zip from sd card, and then choose the froyo .zip file.
