I'm having problems playing videos off of the SD card on my Galaxy S2, at first I thought it was a problem with the actual video files but then I tried putting them on the internal memory which worked so I know now that it's the SD card that's at fault, every time I try playing a video from a file that's on the SD card I get a 'file not supported' error, any idea why this happens and how I can resolve it? Would backing up the files on the SD card then formatting the card work? A little more info: I'm not very technically minded and so was hesitant about rooting my phone even after having so many different people telling me I should, so in the end I ended up following a tutorial on Youtube, I tried adding the link but because this is my first post I couldn't, but if you put 'How to Root Galaxy S2! [NEW][i9100]' into Youtube it's the first video. That worked for me but I have done nothing more than that.
