Help Videos taken with Galaxy S3 are all sideway after being transfered to PC

I have a problem with my new Galaxy S3. I used the phone to record some videos and they are all fine when I watch them on my phone, but once I uploaded them to my PC, they were all sideway (horizontal), even though I took them vertically. Is there anyone who knows how to fix this problem? Thanks!

there is a program to rotate them back after you have them on your PC but thats just the way it works

What's the program? I need to download it somewhere? I'am using Samsung Kies application on my PC and it can rotate photos, but not videos.

its been a while since i used Windows, ive been a Mac user more recently it was a pre-installed program something liek Windows DVD maker or Windows Video something

it happens to me too, but when I upload them to youtube or facebook they are fine!!

Just right click on a photo and select "preview". The s/b buttons on the bottom to rotate the pic. For me (and apparently others), only the thumbnails are sideways. The actual images show the correct orientation.

I have no problem to rotate the photos. My problem is how to rotate video clips.
