Not an ideal solution but most websites give you a link at the bottom of the page that takes you to the main site.

There's usually a link on the mobile site suggesting "view full site".

so you do want mobile view but want to view some sites as full sites?

    or

you want to view ALL sites as full sites?

if it's the first option, do what philarmer suggested.

if it's the second option, configure the standard HTC browser:

open browser > menu > more > settings > uncheck mobile view

You can also use DolphinHD Browser to do this they have also released a plugin that lets you switch between Desktop & Mobile views easily without going into any settings.

Just swipe to the left in dolphin so you get the little plugin bar on the right. Then click on the jigsaw piece and then get more add-ons. Scroll down till you get to "Desktop Toggles" and click the download arrow.
