FINALLY

I managed to install the V12
so, i was navigating through the phone and then i found VillainROM updater, so i checked for updates and there was a radio update, i downloaded and ran it, phone rebooted, its saying Extracting radio image... BUT it been like this for around 30 minutes, is that normal?? should i wait more??

Did the phone boot into recovery? And flash the image, I suggest manually. Moving the image from the updater folder into the root of the SD card, and flashing DO NOT INTERRUPT THIS PROCESS YOU WILL BRICK YOUR PHONE

so mms is confirmed work out of the box, in tha i wont have to open up termainal editor and edit back in my mms settings? last time i flashed i had to get telus techs to fix my mms, cuz there was nuthin i could do to get it set back up properly

Villain12 is based on a GSM ROM. If Telus is not GSM, it won't just work out-of-the-box.

Until the official GSM 2.1 update was released by HTC recently, all previous ROM's I'd tried were not based on a GSM ROM. Because of this, MMS was a real pain for me to get to work.

mmm so far the only thing wrong i noticed about v12 is that the lockscreen sometimes freezes, I can't slide it down and need to pull the battery... will try to reboot a few times and see what happens

Install setup and set a profile for sleep with a min freq of 250 ish, and max 300that cured my sleep lock issues

Ever since using this ROM and the new radio my battery has been so much better. My phone can actually last throughout a full day with no use at all. Not only that, it didn't even die on me when I left Wi-Fi on overnight!

Before I changed roms/radio I was having so much battery problems, I was having to charge it every single night even if I didn't use the device.

Can your phone make phonecalls?

If you seem to have network related issues then reflashing the radio's a good idea, but if nothing seems broken then it must have flashed correctly.

I underclock to 122 when the screen is just fine. Funny how every processor seems to be a bit different.

I can't run mine at 740, for example

Anyone here has problems with Launcher PRo? If i am in one app, and then go back to the home screen, all the shortcuts and widgets just "refresh" themselves and i must wait 2-3 sec. for my display to be functional.

I am thinking about my sd card, because its a 2gb class 2 and i have apps2sd on it...

Hey guys, using the overclock widget and this is my first time overclocking, screen on about 526 min and 691 max. The back of the phone feels pretty warm. Any apps out there that will warn me if I am frazzling my CPU still a superb ROM, Best by a mile!

You can set a battery temp profile on setCPU set it to above 50 degrees to drop it to 200 mhz

Cheers Jaffa. Just downloaded and installed. Set a few profiles. I presume the main profile for screen on is the one on the homepage. Any other settings in there I should be aware of? ALao I presume this does the same job only more than overclock widget so I can uninstall that?

Calirate your battery, run it completely flat, charge it with phone off till led goes green, boot to recovery wipe battery stats

Charge it with the phone OFF, after the led is green, leave it for another 30 minutes, then boot into recovery mode, select WIPE and then choose WIPE BATTERY STATS, Reboot and you are good to go

I Had 1 day and 16 hours of battery and today i had 5 % and i needed to recharge. But the battery life it's good actually, on this ROM. After you callibrate your battery, of course!

I'm running v10 and have had no issues with that. I'm a little confused about v12 because all the features mentioned seem to be on my device running v10.

Am I missing something?
