Does anyone know how to get to the APN settings?
It should be in Settings under Wireless And Network, More, Mobile Networks, Access Point Names i think(?) Man
Access point names arent available
Try using the voice dialer app and say open access point name
I dont think there's a voice dialer app. Instead there is S-voice. I tried saying open Access Point Name and she said There are no matching applications.
Has the setting been disabled or something?
No idea but they aren't there.
The setting is just hidden, need someone with a gs3 to test a method of mines.
Sorry just locking for stock modum an kernel zip for virgin mobile s3 !!
I'll Finds Em...
easy way download gesture search, and write apn will open it for you
Okay here is the full apns-conf.xml : Virgin Mobile Galaxy s3 apns-conf.xml
Here's a flashable ZIP of the apns that may restore functionality after flashing sprint ROMs..... Galaxy_s3_apns.zip I'm about to check this theory...
Will this work on touchwiz roms?
You will still probably need a deodexed version of SecMms.apk to drop in to the sprint Touchwiz ROMs; and not to mention you'll have to modify the build.prop to more closely match ours. I was messing with this last night but had to get some sleep for wortk today but i was able to get most of the touchwiz ROMs to boot w/o MMS and i could not confirm 4G either...
It would seem from the APNs and the entries in the build.prop that our phone is running a "Chameleon Profile" on the Sprint 4G LTE network so that we are seen as different from a sprint user....
Will this help me regain 4g lte?
not sure yet... sprint roms seem to kill all data
Bump on this, This would be a huge improvement toward stepping into the rom world.
