Help [VIRGIN MOBILE] Wifi Trouble

Is anyone else having the problem where you press the wifi button on and it immediately turns off. If I go to the wifi under the settings it tells me its turning on ,but never does. I have root access. The only way for me to fix it is to reboot my phone ,but does anyone else have a fix?

Have you ruled out that it's not a problem with your access point?
You can also try turning off the Connections optimizer too. It's under Settings>More settings>Mobile networks. I'm not sure if that will really help or not.
