Hi,

I'm running an XP client on a kubuntu host using virtualbox and while I'm able to get the Hero to be detected under windows I've been unable to get the sync to connect.

Has anyone managed this? I've searched, but without success.

I have same problem. Any solution?

Swap the HDD in my laptop for a spare, drop a minimum install of XP on there and use that to flash the rom.

No solution for day-to-day sync.

Why limit a linux device to requiring a windows machine I really don't understand. Even if the linux version of the application wasn't so polished or a script even!
