every time i get a vm on my att backflip, it shows up as "You have 2 new voicemails from..." The number is always the general AT&T main voicemail call in number to simply retrieve your mails - Not the person who called.

Is there any app that will give me a visual VM option like I had on the blackberry bold or the iPhone?

There is an app called Phone Fusion or PF Voicemail. It does provide visual voicemail and speach to text. It uses SMS to function so you'll need to have an adequate messaging plan if you want to use it.

    Or Get Google Voice.
I mean, you are using a Google Phone.
And you can make free calls with Gizmo5 (A Google Company)

I would love google voice but you have to get an invite to use it; I have been waiting for 6 months; unless you want to give me one? :D

I liked phonefusion a bunch, but i recently switched to google voice. there are more rings before your voicemail picks up, but in my opinion that weeds out the people who have unimportant messages to leave.
