Unless you're trying to use aps2sd, you dont need to partition. Which rom are you coming from?

My issue is I can't use Handcent with 2.0.1. Whenever I try to type in the text box the screen will eventually go blank/black and just sit there like that with no recovery. Although quick reply seems unaffected. Had to switch back to native app. I really miss Handcent. Also, can't answer calls if I am doing other things. This was an issue on stock, but it seems worse with evil eris. All in all I'm happy with it. I'm just saying these are things that have happened to me.

The only vital issue for me is the size of EE. I loved everything about EE, except that it takes up so much room. I don't want to run A2SD. Now I'm on xtrROM, which is faster and takes up less room.

Looks like this issue was caused by the improper installation of the 2.0.1 rom as suspected. Wiped and installed evil eris 3.0 last night. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!! I especially dig the subtle blue theme (blue battery display, icon backgrounds turn blue when touched, etc). SWEET.

PS. Graywolferis1, the backlight on soft keys was fixed in 3.0.
