    You have certainly heard about a lot of flash card applications. They teach You by asking questions. Usually You have to write the cards Yourself. But with VocabIT! it is enough to take photo of a list of words(it is usually at the back of a textbook) and the flash cards will be created (almost) automatically. It is really fast.

    do you use OCR tools or in future updates ?

    No sorry, OCR is not planned(althought people ask for it). I do not know how it would help the user. Moreover the language support (like learning Japanese) and reliability would be a huge problem.

    But think about something else You are missing and would like to see in future updates and I might try to implement it. I might event try the OCR if you give me a really good reason.

    of course it is VERY desirable.... especially when anyone wants to edit......the words have often many meanings (I konw I can write it again and take a photo of that....but really?)

    and OCR saves memory too - better to save text instead of any pictures
