Voice to text notes

    Is there an app that would record voice, to do stuff and convert to a text list

    Not limited to the Android, Google Voice includes automatic transcription of messages into an email that is sent to whatever account you want. You could then copy/paste to whatever journal app you use. It is free.

    I think this is cool, but more involved than I would need. I'd like to see an app that simply transcribes a voice memo into a "stickie" without emailing it anywhere.

    Try OI Notepad - it has a voice to text add -on.

    RE: OI Notepad: I see the voice notes extension that gives the ability to record a message but not seeing how to turn the audio into text. Am I missing something?

    Ahh...my bad, I was multi-tasking when I posted and missed the last part of your need, to convert to text. Sorry, OI won't do that as far as I'm aware...

    Would Love to see this app as well. Possibly with a Widget for one touch note recording and then have it added to the to do list. Is there a developer page for suggestions?
