voip?

    What is the easiest way a-z to get wifi calling on the Nexus One tmobile? Will GV work over wifi?

    I also wonder what the current status of Skype over wifi is? I'm not sure I want to start using GV (maybe I have to?).

    Google Voice wouldn't do voice over IP either. It dials a traditional cell call to one of their numbers, from there calls what you asked for, then connects those calls so you can talk.

    Try the Fring application on the Market.

    I have used this to call another Hero over WiFi, but it was a little too buggy at the time for me to bother continuing to use it.

    Works though.....

    Fring seems fine to me on the Hero

    I use nimbuzz to connect to skype contacts (i.e skype to skype rather than skype out) - for some reason fring always showed contacts as being offline, but nimbuzz works (I also only do it over wifi)
