Does anyone know of a VPN/remote desktop application that allows the eris to log onto a vpn and access pc's on that network?

I don't know of anything for Android, but iPhone just got a VNC app, so maybe there's hope.

i`ll try to find out for you, my co-worker needed a client but our company ended up providing some type of way to get her on our vpn through the net. she uses pdanet to connect to the internet at home but it wouldnt work with this vpn we had before...then they changed the way to connect to the vpn through a web portal i slightly remember...using pdanet.

VNC is not VPN. VNC lets you remote desktop. VPN puts your phone on that network so its like you are there but your not.

Correct. it was a 2 part question though. I was addressing the "remote desktop application" part of it :).
